Selectmen sign contract with aggregate's consultant

The selectmen last Wednesday voted to sign a service agreement with a consultant that will work with 13 cities and towns who will purchase energy together with the hope that buying electricity in a larger volume will get them a less expensive price than if they bought energy on their own. The consultant that is working with the towns and cities, in conjunction with the Southeastern Regional Planning and Economic Development District, is named Good Energy and was represented by Stefano Loretto at the selectmen's meeting last week.
