Rep. Jim Renacci wasn't charged with any crimes for accepting $90,000 in campaign donations from employees of Canton direct marketer Ben Suarez and writing a letter to Ohio Gov. John Kasich on Suarez' behalf. And Suarez wasn't found guilty of anything but obstruction of justice this summer after a prolonged trial where prosecutors charged he violated campaign finance laws by reimbursing his workers for donations they made to Renacci and Ohio Treasurer Josh Mandel's unsuccessful U.S. Senate campaign.
